Welcome to Custom Offshore Yachts, Inc.
ANNOUNCING OUR 2010 BERMUDA RACE SEMINAR FOR EXPEDITION SOFTWARE. Please click link to left for complete information.
Custom Offshore is the regional J-Boat dealer for Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, as well as an agent for Summit Yachts and their high performance line of Mark Mills design yachts, the King 40,
Summit 35
and the Summit md35. We specialize in performance cruising and racing sailboat sales and are known for our work in sailboat commissioning, maintenance, repairs, customization and race preparation as well as full instrument configuration and installation. We have worked on everything from Americas Cup yachts to Optimist dinghies and have produced race winning yachts coast to coast. Custom Offshore is located in Riverside, New Jersey, 10 miles north of Center City Philadelphia on the New Jersey side of the Delaware River.
Aside from J-Boats and Summit Yachts Custom Offshore represents Ockam Instruments, B&G, Navico/Simrad/Robertson, Northstar, Alpine Audio, KVH, Globalstar, Iridium, and we sell and install all brands of marine hardware and electronics. We are proud to announce that we are now dealers for Expedition tactical and navigation software.
We have a DryHull core drying machine and can effectively handle the drying of cored sailboats. You no longer have to write-off a wet cored vessel. Talk to Jonathan or Jeffrey about this cost effective alternative to recoring a wet boat.
We perform all of our work in house.
Our latest J-Boat is shown here rolling out the door. This brand new J22 is heading off to North Jersey for her very happy owners. This is their second J-Boat.
Our 10th (!!!) Annual Composites Seminar took place earlier this year in Alta, UT and once again much was learned and enjoyed. Here’s this years participants lined up for the shot. Another outstanding time.

40' Beneteau 40.7
2000
US$ 129,950
2000 Beneteau 40.7 Beneteau hit a home run with this Bruce Farr designed Racer/Cruiser, building more 40 foot Racer/Cruisers than any other manufacturer in the world. This three cabin design has plenty of room for family cruising and lots of horse power with a well designed underbody and the ability to go upwind or downwind with much larger sailboats. Local fleets make this an easy choice for the sailor who wants to race and spend time with family on the water. DownTime is a great opportunity for someone looking for a first time racing or high performance cruising sailboat. DownTime was First in Class in IRC East Coast Championships in Nov. 2009, and second in IRC and third in class in PHRF in AYC Fall Series in Oct. 2009.** DownTime is one of the best equipped and most successful Beneteau 40.7's on the East Coast. Her owners, two very experienced sailors, have raced her successfully in Annapolis and New England, and cruised her in New England and the Chesapeake. DownTime has been professionally prepared and maintained. She is equipped for cruising and inshore and offshore racing, with extensive electronics and a full sail inventory. She has raced under PHRF, IRC and ORR. Race Results Include: Newport Bermuda 2006 Second in class IRC and ORR Annapolis Newport 2007 Third in class IRC Block Island 2003 Raceweek Second in Beneteau class Block Island 2005 Raceweek Second in Beneteau 40.7 class Block Island 2007 Raceweek Top Beneteau 40.7 in class IRC East Coast Championships 2005 and 2006, Third in Class IRC East Coast Championships 2009, First in Class <
